This agreement
By downloading or using Solen you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What the app does
Solen records the symptoms you log each day and shows you what your own entries add up to: how a symptom has moved over time, which days it clusters on, and how a fourteen-day period compares with the fortnight before it. Everything it shows you is computed from what you entered.
Subscription and billing
Solen is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. A free trial is offered on the yearly plan only. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Renewals are charged within 24 hours of the period ending. Manage or cancel any time in your Apple ID account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
What the numbers can and cannot show
Solen reports what your logs contain. It does not establish cause. A symptom being lower during a period when you changed something is not proof that the change is why, and Solen never says that it is. See How Solen measures for the detail, and treat every figure as a starting point for your own judgement rather than as a finding.
Not medical advice
Solen is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It does not tell you what to take, what to stop, or what to ask for. Speak to a qualified professional about your symptoms and before changing anything about how you manage them.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with or overload the service, resell access, or use the app to assemble a competing dataset. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised version.
Apple standard EULA
Unless we provide a separate license, your use of Solen is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement.
